Epiq Examples Video Series #1 - Using GNU Radio to Decode a Simple UAV Video Stream With Epiq’s Thunderkiq NV100

Lexi Jones

09/07/25

In this video Epiq’s Application Engineer Aaron Foster uses a Thunderkiq NV100 SDR to decode a drone video transmission. He uses the open-source GNU Radio framework as well as Epiq’s libraries to construct a signal chain that takes the microwave signal, down-converts, demodulates and then displays the video feed from beginning to end.
